In our US History studies we are learning about all different Native American Tribes around the US. I am using BJU Heritage Studies 1 as our textbook and enriching the study with living books like The Legend of the Indian Paintbrush by Tomie dePaola and A River Ran Wild by Lynne Cherry. Today we talked about the Kiowa tribe that lived on the plains of North America. They hunted buffalo and lived in teepees. We are creating our own teepee today. I found this teepee printable on The ImaginationBox. | Here is a Native American headband with feathers from education.com. |
